“ Really good Chinese food here. My family and I have been going here for a couple years and I love the chow mein, the Mongolian beef, and the orange chicken ! The food tastes fresh, and some food on the menu is quite spicy like the dried pot which is a really cool dish because it has an oil based fire on a dish underwear the main pot where the food is when they bring it out to you. The owners work there 24/7 and are very friendly. The service is very quick and they will get the food to you very quickly. ”

“ This place is under new management. Hubby & I ate here on the first day of new ownership. We were skeptic at first. The service:customer was superb up to time we left. We ordered (sorry no pix), Mongolian beef which was so flavorful, tender, fresh. It had the right amount of onions and beef to complement each other. Trust me, it did not disappoint. Sooo good! Next, the house special fried rice had a bit too much meat and seafood but it was real good too. Also ordered the spicy crispy chicken. Flavor and spiciness was at my preference, very mild, yet crispy. The steamed beef/shrimp dumplings were hot and fresh. It came with a soy sauce rice vinegar sauce. Mr Spicy definitely did not disappoint. It’s a must try. ”

“ This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in San Diego. It has a nice mom and pop kind of feel to it. If it actually is, I have no idea. My favorite thing from then are the Dan Dan noodles. They are simple yet delicious which is what I like the most. However all the food I've tried from them is good and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be disappointed if you gave them a try. ”

“ If you're looking for the budget hole-in-the-wall authentic Chinese spot, you've found it. Mr. Spicy sure surprised me! The atmosphere takes you right back to the year 2001, and honestly so do the prices. Each plate could serve a family of 2-3 comfortably and they each cost 10. A serving of white rice is 0.80. My partner and I sampled a couple plates and have plenty of leftovers. The mango chicken was pretty good. The "small" egg drop soup was enormous. Spicy chicken was delicious. I'll be back to try the rest of the menu. ”
